Can I just say something? Because any time something like this happens in a fandom, everyone is terribly upset and we’re totally right to be because this is about people we appreciate and respect being victims of harassment or robberies and this is not okay. But everyone also needs to be reminded that these cases aren’t about fans going too far. Most of these cases are about people who suffer from erotomania, that means these people are psychotic and delirium and believe they have a special bond with one or another celebrity. 

This isn’t about fandoms okay, this is about mental state of an individual. I just wanted to put that out because a lot of people always go “what is wrong with this fandom” and such and I think it’s a terrible mistake. Fandoms have nothing to do with that.
