We did good and we had fun. And that’s what I’m going to remember. My best friend, and he’d kill me for saying that’s what he was, is dead. Sherlock Holmes is dead.
But, by God, he’ll never be forgotten."
John Watson’s blog, 20th April [x]
I’m just waiting for an anonymous reply from Sherlock about the punctuation mistakes.
MRS HUDSON HAS A SEXY SON?????????

#SherlockR3VEALED – Watch the first teaser trailer for Sherlock Series 3!
So, what did you think about the first trailer for Sherlock Series Three?
The teaser, featuring Una Stubbs, Rupert Graves, Mark Gatiss, Louise Brealey, Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch runs for 25 seconds but features no actual footage from the third series itself.
It is instead an original creation by director Jason Thomson of Red Bee Media, who has created numerous original promotional trailers for the BBC. That said, it does hint at the major dramatic crux of the start of the third series - the inevitable reunion of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson, after Sherlock faked his death at the conclusion of The Reichenbach Fall.
And yes, that is a striking new look for John too, don’t you think?
As you may notice, the trailer also carries no airdate for Sherlock Series Three in the UK. While the rough area that Sherlock may be broadcast in will become clearer in the months ahead, the actual definite date cannot be set until the completed episodes have been delivered to the BBC by Hartswood Films, so at the moment any dates you see online continue to be mere speculation.
"My dear Watson," said the well-remembered voice. “I owe you a thousand apologies. I had no idea that you would be so affected."
- The Adventure of the Empty House
I published the first page of this a little while back. Sorry that it’s taken me a while to get the rest of this posted!
Some of these scenes (such as Watson and Holmes before the web, or Sherlock and Joan on the rooftop) should seem a little familiar. I very deliberately tried to recreate them from all sorts of screenshots and references.
Thank you very much to everyone who has been so supportive in having me see this through.
"You’ll come with me to-night?"
"When you like and where you like."
"This is, indeed, like the old days.
An other amazing idea of LetsDrawSherlock
"Ha Sherlock, I’m back from the shopping, you hungry?"
"I forgot the bread."
"and the pains au chocolat."
NOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooO *french drama*
meal without bread. Is not french meal.
cours de français.
I change the name Sherlock so it looks more frenchy : Chèreloque. Which means DearRag (or Dearhumanwreck lolol)
In some south regions’ of France we usually call the pain au chocolat,
a Chocolatine. >_>
"End" in french would be translated by “fin". but I though t’was funnier to write “faim" (same pronunciation) which means hunger. haha.hfhjvgfkbfv.
Parfait. Absolument parfait.
#I’ve just noticed #Sherlock’s little tremble #the gun shakes in his hand #nononojohnwhatareyoudoing #and that look #the fucking look of fear #his whole face softened #he’s panicking again #ugh i just keep watching it #can we not #asdfghjkjhgfdsasdfghjhgfdsa
That last 3 frames before the loop. HOLY FUCK.
Do you SEE how young and utterly unprepared for this he is?
This is the boy Mrs Hudson sees, the teen Mycroft can’t help but be frustrated by, and the man inside the machine John would die to protect.
Because Sherlock, in his way, is so very vulnerable, even if he never sees it. Or more, chooses to hide this vulnerability even from himself.
So very unprepared to deal with his own humanity.
His own emotions.
And right here, we can see that vulnerability, that emotion plainly and so obviously.
That last 3 frames?
They break my damn heart.
Maybe Sherlock has the little tremble because he can’t save John if anything goes wrong - the guns a fake. It’s the lighter gun from the pilot. Why else would he scratch his head with it later on in the scene? He’s so utterly unprepared because he hadn’t taken into account that John would do anything like that and if Sherlock pulls the trigger…
